Twisting more fun into your party celebration

We love parties and the excitement of planning for the fun! Finding the best venue, entertainer and assorted activities doesn’t have to be challenging. Great memories are almost a guarantee when you consider the ages of your guests and offer a variety of activities. If one child doesn’t appear to like having either their face, arm or hand  painted, having another activity to follow, may ignite that smile that adults love to watch for. Adding balloon twisting is one recommendation I like to suggest. It’s fun for kids to pick their favorite color balloons and watch the squeaky, twisting, (sometimes popping) completed form come to be. The smiles are numerous as guests watch on. My Monster Thinking

Unless you are perfect, we all have it! Thinking certain thoughts that can prevent the possibility of a more peaceful and enjoyable day! Being somewhat of a visual and creative person, I decided to “get the monsters out of my head and give them a new home.” After all, they had been renting in my head for free. It was about...

The coloring craze that makes me feel like a kid again

I miss being a kid, and I do my best to never let that play seeking, excitable part of myself die. I was remembering some things that I did as a child and ways I try to still be childlike? If you think my idea is kid stuff, think again. When adults take time to think and even do things they once enjoyed as a child, they begin to see things from a fresher perspective. One of my current favorite childlike activities is  to relax and color. Coloring has become a recent craze, but almost 6 years ago, I had a rare opportunity to start coloring again . At the time I wasn’t able to locate coloring books for adults, so I remember searching the internet and finding Mandalas’s (circular patterns used for meditative purposes). They were detailed and rhythmic designs that inspired me to play with color combinations while meditating on the patterns. I still enjoy the challenging detailed...
